Leslie Kelly   /   Sales, business development & growth

You’re hiring for results.
Here are mine.

I start with a signal, form a business hypothesis, find the buyer who owns the problem, and earn a conversation. Then discovery and disciplined follow-up move the opportunity forward. My track record spans B2B sales, high-volume outbound, and outreach operations.

The work behind
the numbers.

The numbers are outcomes. These are the prospecting decisions, conversations, and workflows behind them.

Airgas (Air Liquide) · Inside Sales Specialist

Cold call to signed agreement in about a week.

~$10,800hard-goods sale

Situation

A demolition company needed welding supplies and hard goods for a project. The opportunity began with a cold call.

What I did

I independently sourced the opportunity and carried it from the first call through a signed agreement. In the role, I made 120+ outbound calls a day and managed quotes, follow-up, and pipeline in Salesforce and SAP.

Outcome

I closed the sale in approximately one week. I also consistently reached monthly revenue targets within the first week.

I saw an opportunity for a more structured outreach and admissions function.

What I did

I proposed and helped build my role and the outreach function, organized follow-up, managed pipeline and CRM workflows, and became the team's Element CRM subject-matter expert.

Outcome

I helped double fall enrollment in under three months.

02 / How I work

Signal → hypothesis
→ next action.

A prospecting hypothesis should be specific enough to be wrong. I use the conversation to test it, then turn what I learn into a better next move.

01 / Signal

Find why now

Research the account, a relevant trigger, existing relationships, and the context behind the activity.

02 / Hypothesis

Name the problem

Form a testable view of what changed, why it matters, and where the business friction might be.

03 / Buyer

Map the owner

Identify who feels the problem, who owns the outcome, and who else shapes the decision.

04 / Message

One idea. One CTA.

Give the buyer a reason to respond. Let email, phone, and LinkedIn reinforce the same point of view.

05 / Test

Measure movement

Track positive replies, live conversations, qualified meetings, and pipeline. Revise the hypothesis when it is weak.

After the reply: I use discovery to understand the current process, business impact, timing, and decision path. I document the commitment, follow up with relevant context, and keep the next step accountable.

Public sales work sample / Leslie Kelly

From Account Signal
to Sales Conversation.

Hypothetical exercise: I have not worked with or contacted Samsara. The offering and actions below are proposed, with no campaign or outcome claimed.

The signal and account context

On September 10, 2026, Samsara announced Driver Perks, a U.S. rewards program for professional drivers with more than 50 brand partners. Samsara plans to reach more drivers globally and said it surveyed drivers to shape the initial offers.

That is a verified expansion signal. It does not tell me whether Samsara needs outside help.

My hypothesis and likely buyer

Hypothesis: As Driver Perks enters another market, sourcing relevant regional partners could become a priority. Discovery would test that assumption.

The hypothetical B2B offering is a partner-sourcing pilot: map one market, vet brands against the program’s criteria, and introduce qualified prospects. I would approach the person responsible for Driver Perks brand partnerships, who likely shapes the partner mix. I have not verified a specific contact or title.

Proposed outbound email (not sent)

Discovery

  1. How are you deciding which driver needs and offer categories matter most in the next market?
  2. How are you finding and evaluating regional brands today, and where, if anywhere, does that process slow down?
  3. What would a small pilot need to prove for you to consider expanding it?

Qualification and next action

I would qualify the opportunity by confirming the market and timing, current sourcing process, decision owner, budget, and success measure. A launch announcement alone would not earn a place in my qualified pipeline.

If there were a live priority and decision path, I would send a one-page pilot proposal covering the market, partner criteria, responsibilities, success measure, and review date. If the work were covered internally or expansion had no near-term date, I would record that context and revisit when the signal changed.

Without a reply, I would send one useful follow-up after five business days, then pause.

03 / About

I’ve sold directly and built the follow-through around growth.

Leslie Kelly

AT&T taught me consultative B2B selling. Airgas gave me the pace of high-volume outbound and the ownership to source and close a deal. At College Together, I proposed and helped build an outreach role, managed the pipeline, and became the team’s Element CRM resource.

I’m drawn to roles where account context changes the message, discovery improves the hypothesis, and disciplined follow-up moves the work. I’m looking for greater ownership across pipeline, customer relationships, and growth.

04 / Contact

Let’s talk about the work.

I’m exploring Account Executive, B2B sales, business development, customer success, and growth opportunities. If my approach fits what your team needs, I’d welcome a conversation.
